I wore a Withings for a year, it wasn't a terrible watch, but the tiny round display is really too small to be practical for scrolling notifications. Fossil/Citizen/Skagen all make variations of my current watch[1] which have much larger e-ink displays, are pretty easy to make your own faces for (just PNGs with some circles/transparent holes you can set to show data).
