- xbar 3y agoThis. The looming commercial real estate economic catastrophe aside, everyone who fought to keep work remote fought for the opportunity to compete directly in a global wage market. BuzzFeed-journalists enjoy sniping middle managers-as-petty-autocrats from the peanut gallery in a "fight the power!" attitude using gender-war headline bait, but I expect zoomer MBAs still living in their grandparents basements into their 40s, overseeing the cheapest possible globally remote gen alpha ICs and AIs, are going to do just fine.
