What is the point of ESG ratings?
- orionblastar 3y agoIt is supposed to save the environment, serve social justice and stop discrimination, etc. It is just another way to make a company woke or else it doesn't get investments from banks. Ask Disney, they followed ESG standard and lost a lot of money on the Marvel and Star Wars movies by going woke. LGBT rights are human rights, women's rights are human rights, etc. But if you mess with the formula of the movie or TV show with bad writing but diverse characters, well even Doctor Who did it and lost. They blame the fans, but the fans know it is bad writing and bad acting. Forced diversity is a failure, crate new characters and make them diverse instead of changing established characters into diverse characters. That's my opinion.
