Ask HN: Open-source/paid embedded email templating

Hi everyone, In our SaaS software we have offer email notifications and our users want to be able to customize them. Do you have any embedded email templating widget we can use to let non-technical users customize their templates? Or would you suggest any alternative such as providing pre-defined templates or integrating with email providers? How do you answer such needs at your company?
