PCalc https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pcalc/id284666222 https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pcalc/id284666222 PCalc is a legendary application, started as a kind of "Hello World" non-trivial app on the Classic MacOS platform. Since those early days, there has been a PCalc release on every Apple device, using the native SDK. Meanwhile, it has also gained some features. There are a few configurations to choose from, simple or scientific or RPN mode. You can edit the buttons. It's a bit quirky, with a special mode for unit conversions, and a "tape" that shows the history of all the calculations, like a paper tape desktop calculator. As a thing with buttons that helps you bang out a quick calculation, it doesn't suck.

okay thanks, as a game developer, i just started creating my own, only for iPad particularly lol. The free ones i downloaded had iaps or bloatware so i thought id just create a simple one for my own use. Nevertheless, PCalc looks like a full fledged calculator and if i need all the complex things out of it i will surely give it a try.

I would recommend UnoCalc. It is a demo App for the capabilities of the Uno Framework and it is free.

I use a good PWA full screen calculator. Here’s 2. The first one will switch to a scientific Calc when you rotate the screen: https://calculator.apps.chrome/ https://calculator.apps.chrome/ https://chrisdiana.github.io/pwa-calculator/ https://chrisdiana.github.io/pwa-calculator/

hey sidkris, I actually like these ones, both infact, going to book mark one of them for quick web calculation. However, coming back to iPad specific, since before this post i wasnt aware of much, i just thought it'd be easier to diy so im halway creating my own simple ipad calculator, but nothing like whats in the market. I've actually bookmarked for personal web use what you recommended. Thanks.
