- PaulHoule 3y agoThe Meta Quest 3 (1/7 the cost of AVP) weighs about 18oz, the elite strap which doubles the battery life is about 7oz. I find the weight of the combo to be just fine for hours of use. Without the strap pressure is distributed on your face on an awful way. (You’ll hear two complaints about the elite strap: (a) it’s too expensive, and (b) it has problems like physical breakage, the battery not charging, etc. I can say that it works for me and that third party straps will soon be all over the place.)
- gigatexal 3y agoGoogling: “ weight of airpods max” shows a value of 13.6 oz. Were you thinking about AirPods Pro? I recall that reviewers said with the two strap solution the weight is a bit more evenly distributed and “feels” less heavy.
