I believe the next step is an "Algolia" of sorts for cosine-similarity search. Why bother with chunking data, synching it, and then tagging metadata to it. DB providers should be smart enough to optimize chunking strategy for the kind of content being indexed and then provide a simple API endpoint to query against their data. "RAG in a can".
