It’s sort of odd to open with “I felt sexualized in 5th grade”, which is easily understood as too young to understand, but then talk about high schools. I’m not defending any dress code policy, but I do think you’re fooling yourself if you think 16 year olds are not trying their best to be as attractive as possible. Sort of a wild difference between 5th and 12th grade. High school seems like the least inappropriate time to teach kids that the real world is full of fuzzy, unfair, and arbitrary rules that change for no good reason between localities.
