Yes, I feel like the idea of a website/web-app you can install made sense at one point, but the reality is that it's not really much of an advantage on a browser, and if you're still running a browser too, you may as well just use it as a part of your existing browser. Firefox pulling the plug on their PWA efforts was pretty frustrating.
