Love it. I used to really suck at some school subjects that had heavy text, until I started "converting" the prose of textbooks to bullet points, tables and whatnot. Then it would magically become interesting to me. Some people would also photocopy my stuff. Funny enough my sister was the opposite, she could read a book and write a thesis in a weekend. I guess different people have different preferences.
