Not a single use of the word 'webmaster' in the whole article. Was Zach even around in the 90s? ;-)

- sen 3y agoStill got my “Webmaster” business cards from the late 90s. No one will ever understand how “cool” it was to have that title back then. Now even I cringe when looking at them but so many good memories.

- flir 3y agoHope you had a Nokia 7110 to go with it. I know I did. Living 15 minutes into the future. shhhhh-clunk.
- tasuki 3y agoWhy do you cringe? The titles of today, such as Site Reliability Engineer, are way more cringey...
- throwaway167 3y agoNot only was it full stack, but user/community management, strategy, perhaps sales, all rolled into one.
- fuzzfactor 3y agoYes, that's as far as you should have to go when it comes to somebody ultimately responsible for a whole website ;)
- commandlinefan 3y agoI worked with a woman who officially referred to herself a "webmistress". Not as a joke.
