The Wilhelm Scream
- martypitt 3y agoThe Wilhelm Scream is a sound effect of a man screaming from the 1950's, that has become an in-joke for sound designers. It's appeared in every Star Wars and Indianna Jones movie, along with countless others. Really cool 4-minute documentary on BBC for those who can view it: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p07p5l6y/inside-cinema-shorts-12-the-wilhelm-scream https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p07p5l6y/inside-cinema...
