“DRM” means “digital rights management” in this context; it has little to do with the choice of AC or DC power. What acronym did you interpret it as?
- graphe 3y agoDRM as you used it. There is no DRM AFAIK that works on AC power. It needs binary and that needs at least a transformer.
- alias_neo 3y agoI interpreted their point to mean; if the device doesn't have any DC voltages inside, it's not running transistors or micro-contollers; the D in DRM; i.e. "no smarts". No smarts, means no DRM.
