- readthenotes1 3y agoI did not see where the time New York times verified the whistleblowers employment and story. It was more a reference to the Seattle times article and some surrounding hoopla...
- wolverine876 3y agoThe NYT source: according to a person familiar with the matter. Not the Seattle Times (though it could be the same source).
- readthenotes1 3y agoWas that not the whistleblower?
- wolverine876 3y agoI have no idea. Maybe it's someone at Boeing, or the FAA, or Alaska Air, or somewhere else.
- wolverine876 3y agoI want to point out how awesome that is: Instead of another Internet rumor - most of which are nonsense - someone actually went out and verified it - someone paid, because who else has time to do it - and now we have actual knowledge. The difference between professional media and 'social media'.
