GitHub Actions is predicated on push n' pray SDLC. Actions is also showing some of the warts that exist from being forked from the old Azure DevOps TFS pipelines. I haven't used GitLab CI runner too often, but the carrot of being able to use a runner on my local machine is extremely appealing.
