Israel & Egypt have had a blockade in place against Palestine since 2007. Maybe I just don't understand, but it makes a lot of sense for Palestine and its allies to then institute a blockade against Israel in response, right?
- draw_down 3y agoWell, I don’t know that anyone is claiming it makes no sense. But anyway by the same logic, the next turn would be to say it makes sense to fight against that blockade. It wouldn’t make sense to say “oh shucks they did the same thing we did, guess we’ll just give up now”
- theossuary 3y agoSure, in fights between countries might makes right. I have just seen a lot of indignity in the news reporting around the recent attacks; which I didn't understand. But it seems it's just a "my team should win" sort of thing, not one side being good and the other not, which sometimes is the case.
