Can we, like, cool down a little bit on the 'OMG, yet another Boeing had a problem!!1!' posts? I can tail -f avherald.com as well as the next person, but come on... The last 757 was delivered over two decades ago, at a time when, allegedly, Boeing still had a proper engineering culture. So, this seems more like a maintenance-slash-really-bad-luck thing than a pervasive manufacturing malpractice scandal. In any case: I would be royally annoyed when flying Delta out of Atlanta on a 757, but mostly because these planes tend to be noisy and cramped, not because of any particular safety concerns...
