So I spend more time making sure my trip to the airport is safe than I do worrying about the flight. It also helps (or hurts, depending on your perspective) that I spend enough time perusing AVHerald to appreciate that planes break fairly routinely, and Airbus planes are as well represented as Boeing. Crashes are exceedingly rare.
