  “In its lawsuit, the government alleged that gunmakers design weapons to appeal to criminal organizations in Mexico.” That’s an extraordinary claim. It will be interesting to see how this eventually plays out.

      Mexican government is suing US companies, not US government. US government can sue Mexican cartels in return if they wish.
