After using a Microsoft Surface, I've discovered that there are moments where "stab a finger at the screen" is a valid and fulfilling method of interacting with an OS. Sometimes it just feels right. Using an iPad as a second screen for my MacBook Air makes its missing touchscreen even more obvious.
