Put macOS on the iPad, you cowards (2021)
- kj99 3y agoI really don’t understand why people want this, MacOS is great with a pointing device and keyboard but terrible without. Why not just buy a MacBook Air if that’s what you want?
- DHPersonal 3y agoAfter using a Microsoft Surface, I've discovered that there are moments where "stab a finger at the screen" is a valid and fulfilling method of interacting with an OS. Sometimes it just feels right. Using an iPad as a second screen for my MacBook Air makes its missing touchscreen even more obvious.
- kj99 3y agoReally - I’ve tried this and it just confirms that adding a touchscreen to a Mac isn’t worth a whole lot.
