I think a better question would be: What parts of the hardware market are suited for startups, given the various capital needs and industry landscape. I'd actually be very interested to hear from people about that.
- aswanson 19y agoI've been thinking about a cheap, scalable, multi-gigabit server, complete with about 40 gigs of ram, tcp offload engines and session logging. Prices on all of these parts have gone down and it might be something to pursue. Who needs a netscalar?!?
