At a time when many companies, flush with cash, routinely perform mass lay-offs in order to boost the stock price no employee's job is secure no matter how well they perform.
So, in such an environment, how can you expect employees not to hedge themselves against the market they find themselves in?
Or, is your argument that we are only allowed to act in our own self-interest if we are C-suite or higher?
- adastra22 3y agoBy all means, switch jobs. But to get two simultaneous paychecks for exclusive, full-time work at two employers at the same time is fraud and theft.
