I've seen Brave's fingerprinting strict mode on a users' computer, and they say they've had very few problems with it in 1-2 years of use.
- crimsontech 3y agoIt caused problems with dark mode for me. All sites displayed in light mode so I had to disable it.
- mastazi 3y agoThis is also my experience, I don't know why the linked post makes it look like a big problem, I very much disagree with them retiring strict mode.
- refactorguy 3y agoYeah, the only times I've had problems with it, it was because of WebGL. So I use Standard mode in like 2-3 sites, and Strict everywhere else. This is a bad move IMO
