In 2022 and 2023 I hired a number of people in the 20-to-30 years old age group, and also passed on many applicants. They all seemed to have two surprising things in common: AA or BA degrees that weren't applicable to any subsequent work history they had, and a desire to not work more than 20 to 25 hours per week.
