I worked for AppleCare at the time not directly for Apple, and there were some in the office. I was interested and didn’t the self paced training but the business case never made sense and it was abandoned too early because they didn’t have a good plan. My personal observation was it was very focused on the Edu market and Apple internal use but lacked the resources to succeed in the enterprise market.
