So MYC is involved in DNA transcription but they don't say for sure that it's abnormally over active in cancers. They've found a way to slow it down though. So

So MYC is involved in DNA transcription but they don't say for sure that it's abnormally over active in cancers. They've found a way to slow it down though. Sounds like something that will need to be targeted at the cancer specifically because MYC needs to be active in every cell. So to me this just looks like interesting cell biology more than cancer cure.
