Indivualized advertising is already a thing in political campaigns. That's what Facebook and all these other companies have been selling for almost 20 years now. I'm not sure whether throwing an AI chatbot into the mix really makes much difference, as the indivualized marketing itself doesn't seem to make much difference. It's just more noise in the political system.
- ListeningPie 3y ago> as the individualized marketing itself doesn't seem to make much difference Are you saying individualized marketing is no more effective than generic mass advertising, in the same answer where you write it's been a money maker for Facebook and "all these other companies" > That's what Facebook and all these other companies have been selling for almost 20 years now. I know, and I'm saying in politics it should be banned. Some countries have strict rules for the types of advertising politicians can use, America is not one of these countries.
