All bets are off when you get the burger cooked medium rare (sorry Canada), and that juice (whatever it is) soaks through the bottom bun.

  I always order burgers medium rare. The trick is to to flip the burger upside down as soon as it arrives.

  When making burgers at home I'll toast the buns a bit to help prevent sogginess. (Note: don't make medium rare burgers at home unless you grind your own meat!!!)
