Scientists may have the key to treating tinnitus: Retrain the brain
- kurts_mustache 3y agoI was expecting this to end with the usual "using this to treat patients in clinical settings is at least 10 years away" (read: probably never) but this one is actually available now it looks like, although it's very pricey at $3-4000.
- doublerabbit 3y agoI'm probably one of the few who actually enjoys my tinnitus. It acts as white noise and can focus on it to drown people out. If I can't sleep, I just focus on it and past out.
- beardyw 3y agoI have a degree of tinnitus, but also another thing where I am near a noisy fan and I can hear music from random genres. It's quite pleasant. I hope to combine the two into tinnitus based music.
