NYC has homelessness and public transit, but it’s not an issue. Looking around at Seattle, Portland SF, I think it’s a uniquely West Coast problem.
- tpjm15 3y agoMinneapolis & St Paul have a light rail that was pretty decent pre covid, now it is a homeless shelter on rails. Practically no policing so there is open drug trade & usage.
- zoklet-enjoyer 3y agoI rode the light rail a few times pre-covid and was fine. The one time post-covid there were a bunch of creepy homeless guys on there.
- s1gnp0st 3y agoYour tolerance for subway violence may be higher than mine, given I have a small child.
