I have not. I can't imagine it improving that much in person, but who knows? Anyway, whether I think it's ugly, in person or from afar, is not the issue; I was surprised that someone found it beautiful (which is different from just not being ugly), but I certainly don't mean to argue the point.
- lijok 3y agoI find it beautiful as well, but beauty for me transcends the visual and into the conceptual / historical. It’s interesting, unique, strange and therefore beautiful.
- filoeleven 3y agoAs a comparison data point, have you also studied Esperanto?
- lijok 3y agoNo, sorry, no idea who Esperanto is
- JadeNB 3y agoI think the reference was to the language https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto, which is interesting and strange. (I am not sure to what extent it is unique, but it is probably the best known among the conlangs.)
- lijok 3y agoThat looks very interesting. Thanks
