Not just in Maine. Our GP in Maryland ( home to JohnsHopkins!) decided to transition to "concierge service" which we couldn't afford. It took nine (9!) months to find a GP who was taking on new patients. Most developed country in the world?
- bookofjoe 3y ago9 months? That's nothing. Last summer I tried to find a GP taking on new patients in Charlottesville, Virginia. I succeeded: my initial appointment is at 8:15 am on January 7, 2025.
