These are great upgrades. You can also put a 3632qm (4 core) cpu in there for about $30, upgrade to 16gb ram for about $20, and an AX3000 wifi6 adapter for $20 ish. It can't compare to an M1, but most of the time you don't need that speed anyway. The real let-down is the screen.
