It's really a damn shame that for the past ~10-15 years we can't have evolution in technology (in this case, better engines, fuel economy, etc) without an evolution in enshittification (unwieldy touchscreens for interfaces which go at 3FPS, remote software updates that break your car, cameras with absolutely no real purpose whatsoever other than apparently spying you have sex in the back seat, etc)
