If cozying up to content makers is their revenue path moving forward, then it seems it's only a matter of time before they succumb to studio pressure and start deprecating/removing self-hosting features. What a crappy way to treat the customer base who has helped fund your growth thus far. The only thing worse than abandoning your self-hosting customers would be to turn snitch on those customer.
