There are a lot of interesting comments here, but I think the one that is getting overlooked is the batteries on these. Tesla announced their own battery production back in September of 2020. Now, well over 3 years later, their 4680 production is still struggling to scale and their energy density is barely competitive with the 2170 cells they were using before. On top of that, the charging performance is significantly worse. All of this is clearly impacting their ability to deliver CT at the competitive level that they intended. 4680 is their biggest business failure in the past 10 years.
