US is, by a clear margin, the wealthiest nation isn't it? Certainly more so than Germany or Japan.
Edit: I may have missed some sarcasm there.
- science4sail 3y agoI think that it's possible for both of you to be right. If you work in traditional manufacturing in the Midwest and mostly consume domestic goods, then it's easy to feel like the US is circling the drain. If you work in IT or finance in a coastal city and mostly consume imported goods, then it's easy to feel like the US is in a golden age.
