Is anyone maintaining and publishing a list of these consumer-hostile companies to avoid?
In the last half year Haier, Chamberlain, and Mazda have issued takedowns or actively blocked access to HA integrations.
- mook 3y agoJust go to the bottom of the integration listing on Home Assistant's website and skip anything with a category that involves cloud. When companies are providing things for free that has an ongoing cost, something is going to break eventually.
