Capped profit is interesting since it doesn't limit the business model, just the likelihood of enshitification.
- wavemode 3y agoRunning a startup AT ALL is extremely stressful and precarious if you're paying anyone a salary. 90% of startups die in flames. Stress and danger are table stakes, I would think.
- rgbrgb 3y agoabsolutely, i'm very familiar with that stress. but committing to a donation only business model for a product you're giving away for free is playing the startup game on ludicrous mode.
