I was rejected by Palantir years ago. The recruiter called and said that I wasn't technical enough. I replied that none of my interviewers asked me a single technical question (I was interviewing to be a lawyer there). The recruiter was slightly embarrassed and said she'd follow up after investigating. Of course, I never heard back.
- atkailash 3y agoI had similar. Was told I didn’t have enough troubleshooting experience when my previous 4 jobs involved it centrally or exclusively, and no questions were asked about my process when troubleshooting.
- neilv 3y agoWell before Snowden, there was a techie joke: "Want to work for the NSA? Call your mom and tell her." I guess Palantir doesn't have the same reputation for capability.
