Embedded developer or are you porting software?
Is it C89 or gnuc89? gnuc89 is the one that allows // for single line comments, I don't know what other features gnuc89 adds over c89.
I also call C89 ANSI C :)
Are you guys using gcc or clang?
- muragekibicho 3y agoWe make file formats. It's all C and we work on the low-level FFmpeg C API and low-level jpeg & brotli apis. We use GCC. I didn't know there's C89 and gnuc89 lol
