How about auto scaling? Is there something that makes auto scaling when self-hosting easier?
- the_gastropod 3y agoThis presupposes that you need autoscaling. I suspect the vast majority of applications have pretty predictable resource requirements / growth characteristics. Over-provisioning your hardware a bit to handle anticipated spikes is probably fine for 80%+ of use-cases.
- layer8 3y agoOnly a very small percentage of businesses need autoscaling.
