Innocent until proven guilty for a prison sentence. Obviously arresting someone has a lower bar. If you had read carefully, you'd have noticed that I suggested a policy of arresting based on tests that reduce false negatives, and then subsequent tests after arrest which are designed to reduce false positives, potentially balancing the issue you mention.
- godelski 3y agoI did read carefully and responded to that point. I'll also point to other comments in this thread which demonstrate an over confidence in being reliant on this as a system that cannot easily be abused.
