The problem is government. Even Trumps private twitter messages had been seized. If a former president can't protect his privacy...who can? Should you expect to have your personal communications just taken by a government bureaucrat any time they want. I think the problem id deeper than technical, it's a political and moral problem. Companies will cave and do what government tells them to comply.
