Apple to sell some watches without blood oxygen feature after US court ruling
- gnicholas 3y agoThere's no indication that the price will be lower. I wouldn't have been surprised if they had offered a very small discount, partly to appease customers and partly to use as evidence that this is not a critical feature that customers care a lot about (which they would cite as a reason for a small damages claim or license fee). The article doesn't mention that customers can still purchase through resellers to the extent that their inventory is already in the US. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple had been stuffing the channel in anticipation of this.
