That Microsoft only made Bing Chat available from Edge shows that they still don't understand the web. Everyone uses Chrome today, because they started using Google first, from whatever browser they were using.
- salad-tycoon 3y agoIt’s available on safari on iOS and Mac. I think it’s limited to 3 queries without signing in. I think originally it was only bing app or edge app but no longer the case.
- midnitewarrior 3y agoIt was available there first. It was a value-add for using Edge over Chrome, and it was somewhat effective for about 3 months like that. I started using Edge to have free access to that and I enjoyed it at the time. That event caused me to take another look at Edge, and I now prefer it to Chrome and use it as my daily driver at work. I am split between Edge and Brave at home. Honestly, Microsoft has done a good job with a browser (finally). It only took them 25 years.
