- tooltalk 3y agoGM forecasted $87/KWh for Ultium cells by 2025 early last year. Then, just 9 months later, the company also reported 40% decline in cell cost YoY in 3Q of last year. The price of lithium has fallen by 80+% since the 2022 peak: there isn't some CATL and BYD rivalry that some make it out to be.
