Ask HN: Has anyone moved up on the DoorDash marketplace integration list?
I'm curious if anyone has had any movement on the Marketplace integration queue or if DoorDash is using the following explanation as a way to squeeze out third party delivery api aggregators.
> Our Marketplace integration pipeline is currently at capacity. We are not accepting new partners at the moment while we develop self-serve tooling for merchant onboarding. Please fill in the Marketplace integration interest form to get in touch with DoorDash before building your integration.
I ask because I'm aware of one company that has been on the list for quite some time with no movement. I'm also aware of another delivery API aggregator company that recently lost their access.

- taylorbuley 3y agoNot specific to this company, but, oftentimes, someone at a lowish-level position can make or break you with this stuff. If you have any contacts there, I might advise you to use them and ask what you can do to increase your "application readiness."
- bit-head 3y agoThe thing is I would get it if the one company I know of was not making any progres in the pipeline due to not demonstrating "application readiness", but the other company I know of that lost their access is honestly one of the best implementations I've seen for a delivery aggregator. This makes me question if it's really a matter of "application readiness" and more a backhanded way of shutting out competition because DD's never actually been making money and they're starting to see the writing on the wall.
