- daveguy 3y agoHigh voltage isn't necessarily dangerous. Static electricity is high voltage, but very low amperage and therefore relatively low power.
- iancmceachern 3y agoYeah, but if your sweater were shocking you every so often that wouldn't be fun. This would probably feel more like touching one of those electric fly swatters, it's have some kick.
- LargoLasskhyfv 3y agoI wouldn't worry about that too much. Can be used to overcome limits. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolt_(film) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolt_(film) g
- dtgriscom 3y agoHey! Could be useful in mosquito country! (Of course, your sweater accumulating fried bugs could be a bit off-putting...)
- iancmceachern 3y agoOooh, I like this!
- schappim 3y agoVoltage is not the same as current. At most, you might experience an irritating shock and a high-pitched noise from the electronics, akin to what you'd get from an EL inverter.
- iancmceachern 3y agoIndeed, no confusion here, you didn't need to say that condescending statement. Both of which sound terrible for something one is wearing

- cactacea 3y agoYeah I guess 175V AC might get a little spicy with direct skin contact but I don't see this actually being dangerous just from a broken "thread". Point breaks would only result in current flowing through a small bit of skin right between the broken bits of wire. You'd need multiple breaks in places that result in current flowing through vital organs to do any real harm with something like this.
